Sharon Throgmorton, age 62, of Kevil, Kentucky, passed away at 5:52 a.m. Friday, March 17, 2023 at her home.
Sharon was born in Paducah, Kentucky on Thursday, May 26, 1960 to Jimmy and Edna Cope. She enjoyed working in her yard and loved all animals, caring for many who had been rescued. She will be remembered as a woman with a heart of gold and a radiant smile.
Mrs. Throgmorton is survived by her husband of 38 years, Homer “Rusty” Russell Throgmorton, Jr; her daughter, Season Day of Kevil; her brother, Nicky Cope of Palatka, Florida; her grandchildren, Cameron Dane Hall, Emma and Alexia Lampkin.
Mrs. Throgmorton was preceded in death by her son, David Michael Hall; her father, Jimmy Cope, her mother, Edna Mae Robertson and step father Martin Robertson; her sister, Connie Munster; her brothers, Timothy and Jimmy Cope.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at the Brook Hill Cemetery Chapel with Shawn Redford officiating. Burial will follow at Brook Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 12:00-2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at the Brook Hill Cemetery Chapel.
