Onain Roberts, 90, of Murray, formerly of Gleason, TN passed away on Monday, February 27, 2023, in the comfort of his home in Murray, KY.
Onain was formerly an electrician and plumber. He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, visiting the beach, and woodworking.
Surviving is his wife of 70 years, Willena Roberts of Murray; four daughters, Cynthia Phillips of Murray, Claudine (Rick) Patterson of McKenzie, TN, Glenda (Robert) Rennison of Gleason, TN, Norma (Dr. Richard) Blalock of Murray; five siblings, Dannie Roberts of Dresden, TN, Lucinda Dinkins of Paris, TN, Fredda Schuart of Sevierville, TN, Doris Pounds of Knoxville, TN, Donna Overcast of Dresden, TN; ten grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Gertie Roberts; six siblings, Lela Gallimore, Brooks Roberts, Joyce Jackson, Frances Dinkins, Paul Roberts, and Shirley Presson.
Funeral services will be at 1:00pm on Monday, March 6, 2023, at Abundant Life Assembly of God in Sharon, TN with the Revs. Gene Harris, Gerry Gallimore, James Hazelwood officiating. Burial will follow at Foundry Hill Community Church of Christ in Puryear, TN.
Friends may visit the family from 11:00am to service hour on Monday at the church.
