Mary Arline Russell, 79 of Calvert City, KY passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, February 25, 2023. Mrs. Russell was of the Non-Denominational Faith, a former member of the Eastern Star, former bookkeeper for the Lake Barkley Water Company, and her kid’s biggest cheerleader. Some of her fondest memories at a young age was traveling with her mom and dad as they set up circus entertainment in small towns.
Born Friday, August 6, 1943, in Greenville, KY, she was the daughter of the late Arthur Whitler and the late Mary (McClain) Thompson. She was also preceded in death by her husband: Billy C. Russell; one son: Thomas Charles Russell; one son in law: Tim Henderson.
She is survived by her sons, Billy J. Russell wife Kelly of Draffenville, KY, Jackie Johnson wife Dawn of Crossville, TN; daughters, Mary Henderson of Calvert City, KY, Melisa Cimprich husband John of Calvert City, KY, Carolyn Cole husband Nick of Calvert City, KY; 14 grandchildren, Amber, Ashley, Sara, Allison, Jessica, Michael, Bradley, Lakin, Garrett, Alex, Abby, Kristoph, Sarah, Ella; and 16 great grandchildren.
She had a loving relationship with Sandy Hanson and a devoted pet companion Bambi.
A graveside service will be at 3:30 PM on Tuesday, February 28, 2023, at Calvert City Cemetery with the Rev. Jimmy Eaves officiating.
Interment will follow in Calvert City Cemetery, Calvert City, KY.
There will be no public visitation.
