Traffic Stop Leads to Drug Arrest

On February 24, 2023, at about 11:07pm a deputy with the McCracken County Sheriff Department conducted a traffic stop on a male subject riding a motorcycle on Chester Hack Drive.  The male subject was identified as 54-year-old Thomas Lee Oldham of Paducah, KY.  During the investigation Oldham was found to be in possession of several illegal narcotics including marijuana and approximately 7 grams of suspected methamphetamine.  Oldham was arrested and lodged in the McCracken Regional Jail.  Oldham’s charges include:

1. Unapproved or No Eye Protection Devise (Motorcycle)
2. Operating on Suspended License
3. Failure of Owner Operator to Maintain Required Insurance
4. Possession of Marijuana
5. Possession of Controlled Substance 1^st Degree 1^st Offence (Methamphetamine)
6. Drug Paraphernalia
