Ferrell “Eddie” Edward Kissiar, 85, of Benton, Kentucky passed away on Friday, February 3, 2023 at his residence.
Eddie was born in Kimble, Missouri on September 16, 1937 to the late Ferrel Elvin Kissiar and Stella Mae Hall Kissiar.
He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Paula Wathan Kissiar of Benton; two sons, Edward Gene Kissiar (Jana) of Murray and Harold Doug Kissiar (Karen) of Benton; two brothers, James Kissiar of St. Peters, IL and Bobbie Kissiar (Debbie) of Vandalia, IL; two sisters, Shirley McCormick of Effingham, IL and Zona Newton of Barlow, KY; 4 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by first wife Martha Sue Trevathan Kissar; his brother, Zelmon “Lee” Kissiar and his parents.
A funeral service for Eddie will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, February 6, 2023 at the Collier Funeral Home with Bro. Duane Holland officiating. Interment will follow at Berkley Cemetery in the community of Berkley, KY.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Monday, February 6, 2023 at Collier Funeral Home.
