Mr. William “Bill” West, 82, of Murray, passed away on Thursday, February 2, 2023 at Anna Mae Owen Residential Hospice House.
Mr. West was born on January 16, 1941 in Paducah, KY to the late William and Helen Bates West. He worked for UPS for more than 20 years and he and his wife, Jerel, were members of First Methodist Church in Murray. Mr. Bill was a precious soul who always had a contagious smile on his face and loved people. He never met a stranger and was always there to lend a hand when needed. He will be dearly missed by many.
He is preceded in death by his brother, Michael West, in addition to his parents.
Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 43 years, Mrs. Jerel West of Murray; two daughters, Wendy West of Gulf Shores, AL and Kim Bloch (Ric) of Palm Springs, CA as well as four grandchildren, Casey, Austin, Jade and Taylor.
