Carol Capps, 75 of Calvert City, KY died on Sunday, January 29, 2023, at Baptist Health in Paducah, KY.
Many people knew her from selling Avon for over 20 years and she was a medical secretary at Regional Medical Associates. She was a member of Calvert City United Methodist Church.
Born Wednesday, December 10, 1947 in Detroit, MI, she was the daughter of the late Floyd “Buster” Clark and the late Willadean (Comer) Clark.
She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Ben Capps; daughters, Vanessa Futrell husband Scott of Fairdealing, KY, Amanda Fennel husband Daniel of Benton, KY; brother, Jeffrey Clark wife Shirley of Oak Level, KY; sisters, Susan Vaughn husband Byron of Oak Level, KY, Vickie Newcomb of Benton, KY; grandchildren, Preston Futrell, Owen Futrell, Jake Fennel, Jude Fennel, Brittany Futrell; and great grandson, Luca Smith.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Jerry Clark.
A Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 4, 2023 at Collier Funeral Home, located at 211 West 5th St., Benton, KY 42025 with the Dr. John Perdue and Dr. Roger Joseph officiating.
Interment will follow in Provine Cemetery, Benton, KY.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Friday, February 3, 2023, at Collier Funeral Home.
