
David Keith Inman, 65, of Carterville and formerly of Benton, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, January 25, 2023, at his home.
Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m., Sunday, January 29, 2023, at Riggin-Pillatsch & Burke Funeral Home in Carterville. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, January 30, 2023, at Marshall County Memorial Gardens in Benton, Kentucky. The family requests you wear your favorite sports gear to the visitation.
Memorial contributions can be made to an education fund for his grandkids.
Keith was born December 30, 1957, in Paducah, Kentucky, to Harold Franklin and Alline (Sawyer) Inman. They resided in Benton, Kentucky for many years. Keith was a member of Benton First Baptist Church. He was a graduate of Marshall County High School. He attended Murray State University and later graduated from I & J College of Electronics. Keith was a devoted son, brother, father, papa and friend, to all who knew him. He loved hunting and fishing and was an avid sports fan, particularly the Kentucky Wildcats, St. Louis Cardinals, and the Carterville Lions. He was passionate about coaching his sons, not only in sports, but also in life. He was talented, hardworking, and dedicated to his profession in Information Technology at Southern Illinois Healthcare for nearly three decades.
Keith is survived by his sons, Hunter Inman of Carterville and Micah (Myranda) Thomas of Carterville; mother, Alline Sawyer Inman of Louisville, Kentucky; brother, Kenneth Harold (Van Lee) Inman of Louisville, Kentucky; grandson, Tegan Thomas; niece and nephew; and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Inman; paternal grandparents, David and Nola Inman; and maternal grandparents, Vester and Inez Sawyer.
He will be so very missed and his memory will live on in our hearts forever.
