Barry Lester, 53 of Owensboro, KY passed away on Friday, January 20, 2023, at his residence.
Born Friday, February 7, 1969 in Mayfield, KY. Barry was an avid University of Kentucky Wildcat fan, an honorary employee of Chick-fil-A and a Special Olympic Athlete competing in swimming and diving where he won several medals.
Surviving are his mother, Linda Springs of Owensboro, KY; brother, Steven Lester (Samantha) of Owensboro, KY; niece Sunny Clements (Nick) of Owensboro, KY; and his father, Newman Lester.
Funeral service will be on January 23, 2023 at 12:00 pm in the Collier Funeral Home Chapel with Adam Bridgeman officiating.
Interment will follow in Union Ridge Cemetery, Benton, KY
Visitation will be January 23, 2023 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at the Collier Funeral Home Chapel.
