James Clay “Jackie” Turner, Jr.
James Clay “Jackie” Turner, Jr. age 73, of Paducah, Kentucky, passed away at 2:44 P.M. Wednesday, January 18, 2023 at Ray & Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center.
Jackie was born in Jackson, Tennessee on Monday, May 2, 1949 to James and Mary Turner. His interests ranged from art, to SCCA Pro Solo National Champion auto racing in the mid 80’s, to transcendental meditation. He was a graduate from West Kentucky University with a degree in art.
Mr. Turner is survived by his sister, Laura Cannon (Keith) of Paducah; his brother, Ted Turner of Paducah; his niece, Erica Hines (Matthew); his nephews, Justen Cannon, Trent Turner, Jesse Turner (Lauren); three great nieces and two great nephews.
Mr. Turner was preceded in death by his parents, James Clay “Jack” Turner, Sr. and Mary Erlene Jones Turner.
No public services are planned at this time.
