Alice June Hayden, age, 98, of Lone Oak passed away at 1:10 p.m. Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at Mercy Health Lourdes.
June was a 1942 graduate of Lone Oak High School and of the Church of Christ Faith. She retired as a bookkeeper, where she worked for Hank ‘s Hardware and Michael’s Hardware Stores. June loved to work crossword puzzles and was an avid University of Kentucky basketball and football fan.
Survivors include one son, Ronnie Hayden, Paducah; two grandchildren, Nick Hayden, Lone Oak and Jennifer (Wayne) Quillen, Arlington, Kentucky; four great-grandchildren, Brittany Quillen, Megan Quillen, Kolby Quillen and Corbin Quillen.
Preceding in death was husband, James E. Hayden; one son, Bruce “CB” Hayden; parents, William Ed Lamar and Lillian Lofton Lamar; one sister, Charlotte Pansing; one brother, E. K. “Bub” Lamar.
