Donald King Story, 93, of Calvert City, Kentucky passed away on Friday, January 13, 2023 at Oakview Nursing & Rehab Center in Calvert City, Kentucky.
Don was born in Detroit, Michigan on June 30, 1929 to the late James Story and Florence King Story. He served as a loyal member of the United States Navy. He worked as an electrician for Riley Electric Company. He enjoyed boating on Kentucky Lake and gardening.
He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Joretta Freeman Story of Calvert City; one sister, Kathleen Hall of Yorkville, Illinois; and many loving cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM on Saturday, January 21, 2023 at Collier Funeral Home, 211 West 5th, Benton, Kentucky.
A graveside service will follow at 1:00 PM on Saturday, January 21, 2023 at Fooks Cemetery.
