Two Charged with Drug Possession Following Traffic Stops

The McCracken County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Paducah woman and Metropolis man following two separate traffic stops.

On 01/03/2023 Detectives with the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on US HWY 60W after observing registration violations.  During the traffic stop the operator, identified as 48 year old Holly M. Hyde, of Paducah, KY,  was found to be in possession of a quantity of methamphetamine and was subsequently arrested and lodged in the McCracken County Regional Jail.

On 01/04/2023 Detectives with the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office conducted another traffic stop on a vehicle  on Old US HWY 60 after observing traffic violations.  During the traffic stop the operator, identified as 35 year old Dylan L. Hobbs, of Metropolis, IL, was found to be in possession of a quantity of methamphetamine, marijuana, and items of drug paraphernalia, and was subsequently arrested and lodged in the McCracken County Regional Jail.

ARRESTED: Holly M. Hyde, 48, of Paducah, KY

CHARGES: No Registration Plates/ No Registration Receipt/ Possession Cont Sub, 1^st Degree, 2^nd Offense (Methamphetamine)/ Drug Paraphernalia (Buy/Possess)

ARRESTED: Dylan L. Hobbs, 35, of Metropolis, IL

CHARGES: Careless Driving/ Possession Cont Sub 1^st Deg, 1^st Offense (Methamphetamine)/ Possession of Marijuana/ Drug Paraphernalia (Buy/Possess)
