Mrs. Hilda Mae McGuire, age 101, of Mayfield passed away on Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at the Ray & Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah, KY.
She was a member of High Point Baptist Church, a member of Eastern Star Chapter #443 for over 50 years and a retired employee of Merit Clothing Company.
Mrs. McGuire is survived by one son, Donny (Lisa Willett) McGuire of Chattanooga, TN; two daughters, Linda Sydney of Lexington, KY and Karen (Bill Brown) McGuire of Amissville, VA; seven grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Philip McGuire; one son, Jimmy McGuire; three brothers, Noble McGehee, Calvin McGehee and Harold McGehee; three sisters, Mary Foy, Louise McClain and Gertrude McGehee; and her parents, John and Lura Miller McGehee.
Funeral services for Mrs. Hilda Mae McGuire will be 12:00 noon on Saturday, January 7, 2023 at Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY. Rev. Darrick Holoman will officiate. Interment will follow at Acree Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be her grandchildren, Richard Sydney, Lori Heglas, Chris Bomar, Philip Trent McGuire, Slade McGuire and Sean McGuire.
Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
