Wayne Fritz Obermark, 84, of Metropolis passed away on Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at Massac Memorial Hospital.
He was born on January 14, 1938, to Richard and Lena Korte.
Wayne married Dian Sue Jones on March 21, 1959.
Surviving are his two children, Kathy (Glenn) Cowsert of Golconda and Charles Obermark of Metropolis; granddaughter, Rachel (George) Bridges; grandson, Bodhi Bridges of Enfield, IL.
He was preceded in death by his parents Richard and Lena Korte; his wife, Dian Sue Obermark; and one brother, Raymond Obermark.
As per his request, Wayne will be cremated, and no services will be held.
