Mr. Derryck Fitz, 55, of Murray, passed away on Friday, December 23, 2022 at Passion and Purpose Home Care Assisted Living.
Derryck was born on October 31, 1967 to the late Robert Fitz and Clara Nall. He was an avid University of Kentucky Basketball fan and loved traveling and spending time at the lake with his wife, Melissa.
He is preceded in death by a brother, Erryck Busby, a sister, Melissa Fitz, in addition to his parents.
Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of five years, Melissa Fitz of Murray; two sons, Dasmond Fitz of Hickman, KY, Daylann Fitz (Skyy) of Bowling Green; a brother, Robert Berry (Julia) of Ballard County, KY, three grandchildren, Aliyah, Trulynn, Brelann and a host of nieces and nephews.
A funeral service honoring the life of Derryck Fitz is set for 6 PM on Thursday, December 29, 2022 at Imes Funeral Home & Crematory, 311 North 4th Street, Murray.
His family welcomes visitors from 4 PM – 6 PM on Thursday at the funeral home.
