Shirley Mitchell Pearson, age 86, of Mayfield, KY formerly of Paducah, KY passed away Friday, December 23, 2022 at her residence.
She was a homemaker and member of the Fountain Avenue United Methodist Church in Paducah.
Shirley is survived by her two daughters, Jan (Ray) Schorr of Mayfield and Joy Pearson Smit of Tempe, AZ; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren also survive.
She was preceded in death by her husband J.D. Pearson and her parents Virginia and Bill Mitchell.
A private family graveside service will be held at a later date at the Woodlawn Memorial Mausoleum. Rev. Joey Reed will officiate. Her grandchildren will serve as pallbearers. Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY is in charge of the arrangements.
