Wendell L. Cox, of Paducah passed away at 01:58 a.m. Sunday, December 4, 2022 at the Parkview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Paducah.
Mr. Cox was a retired Pricing Manager for Unocal Corporation. He attended Southland Baptist Temple. He was a 1966 graduate of Cocoa High School in Cocoa, FL & a 1970 graduate of the University Of Florida.
Mr. Cox is survived by his wife of 34 years, Glenda Ramage Cox of Paducah; stepmother, Charlotte Cox of Orlando, FL; daughters, Shaye (Roy) Simmons of Andrews, SC & Tammy (Justin) Bowser of Batavia, IL; sons, Jeff (Brandi) Cox of Demotte, IN & Wesley (Carolyn) Parsons of Schaumburg, IL; sisters, his twin, Ouida Raaz of San Diego, CA & Thresa (Cliff) Abbot of Hayden, AL; brother, Edmond Cox of Orlando, FL; sisters-in-law, Wanda (Buford) Coursey of Paducah & Suzanne (Jerry) Bedwell of Benton, KY; grandchildren, Karlee Cox, Jeffrey Cox, Sydney Cox, Anthony (Clarissa) Parsons, Kaeleigh Parsons, Mckenzie Parsons, Izadora Bowser & Isaac Bowser, as well as several nieces & nephews.
Mr. Cox was preceded in death by his parents, Burl Edward & Augusta Elizabeth Bennett Cox and a brother-in-law, Danny Ramage.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Saturday, December 10, 2022 at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Homes and Cremation Services with Rev. Jimmy Franks officiating. Public visitation will start at 12:00 PM Saturday, December 10, 2022 at the funeral home.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to: Alzheimer’s Association, Dementia Society or Parkinson’s Foundation.
