Phyllis Mutchler, age 72, passed away at her home in Paducah on the morning of Wednesday, November 16, 2022.
Phyllis was born on April 11, 1950 to her parents, Irvin Alfred Amis and Elizabeth Buckman Amis.
Phyllis was a retired nurse, a member of Broadway United Methodist, and a long-time member of the Paducah Garden Club. The Mutchlers also resided part-time on the Alabama coast, where Phyllis loved spending time near the ocean with family and friends. She was a proud graduate of Paducah Tilghman High School and attended Eastern Kentucky University. Phyllis was a devoted wife and doting mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her husband, Dr. Bradford Mutchler; son, Matthew Mutchler (Mallory) of Louisville, Kentucky; stepchildren, Brad Mutchler (Dana), Lisa Gilmore (Merle) and Ann King (Paul); 11 step-grandchildren, 3 step-great-grandchildren, and her sister, Charlotte Duncan of Lexington, Kentucky.
She was proceeded in death by her parents, Irvin and Elizabeth Amis; and two brothers, Michael Amis and Pete Amis.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Saturday, November 19, 2022 at Milner and Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Sunday, November 20, 2022 at Milner and Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
