Tourism is very important to the lakes area and joining us recently on WCBL’s Coffee Call program was Elena Blevins, director of the Kentucky Lake Convention and Visitors Bureau. Blevins says this year has been good for tourism, maybe not as good as 2021, but still very good and she will know more when the official numbers come out. She says one of the major attractions for people to come to the lakes area is the family memories that are made, and she encourages people to stop by her office in Draffenville to share those stories or call 800-467-7145. And she says a newly revised website is about to be introduced at www.visitkylake.com.

Listen to a portion of the Coffee Call interview by following the link at the bottom of the homepage of www.marshallcountydaily.com. And listen to Coffee Call live each weekday morning at 8:30 on AM 1290 WCBL and 99.1 FM WCBL.
