The first ever Halloween Scary Scurry happens this Saturday, October 15th in Benton. Benton City Clerk Beth Cooper joined us on WCBL’s Coffee Call program and she says the Benton Partnership is sponsoring the event, with a decorated golf cart/ATV parade starting at the community building at 5:30, followed by a 5k run and trunk or treat for the kids. Cooper also reminds residents that Benton’s Fall Clean-Up day is Monday, October 17th and you need to have everything curbside by 7 AM that day. For more information call city hall at 270-527-8677.
