The McCracken County Sheriff’s Office, along with other county offices, have received numerous inquiries regarding the current burn ban.

burn-ban-2

The burn ban is still in place and has been since September 27th

The burn ban was put in place by Judge Executive Clymer due to the dry conditions in our area.

We ask that all McCracken County citizens adhere to this order in an effort to prevent a fire from spreading and damaging property or worse, causing injury to someone.

Violation of this burn ban can result in a citation and up to a $500 fine.

Thank you,

Chief Deputy Ryan Willcutt
