The Lady Marshals and Marshals won their 2nd District Tournament semi-final games over Graves County on Tuesday and will advance to Thursday’s championships. They will play the winners of tonight’s semi-final games between Murray and Calloway County.
The Lady Marshals won 5-1 over the Lady Eagles. The lead was 2-0 at halftime on goals by Peyton Lamb and Kelsey Crass with assists going to Zoe Maxlow and Presley Gallimore. Graves County cut it to one after halftime on a goal by Hadley Looper. With under 10 minutes remaining, Anna Robertson took control and scored three straight goals for the Lady Marshals.
In the Marshals 3-0 win over the Eagles, two first half goals were scored by Zander Maxlow and Logan Davis on an assist by Jerricho Evans. Evans scored the third goal of the game off an assist by Maxlow. Steven Claborn had two saves in the shutout.
