Mr. Robert Eugene “Bob” Wallace, 83 of Athens, GA, passed away Friday, September 30, 2022, at his home in Athens, GA.
Born February 17, 1939, in Akron, OH, he was the son of the late Robert Lee Wallace and Mary Ruth (Futrell) Wallace, Mr. Wallace retired after a distinguished career with the University of Georgia, where he was the Director of the Administrative Accounting Department.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Elaine Louise (Woods) Wallace of Athens, GA, two sons, John Wallace and Steven Wallace.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Mary Lee (Wallace) Burkeen.
Services will be private for his family. Burial will follow in the Elm Grove Cemetery, Murray, KY.
