Closure Planned for KY 70/Tiline Road at 5.8mm in Livingston County on Tue & Wed, Oct 4 & 5

Roadway to remain closed overnight for structural repairs to Anglin Creek Bridge

PADUCAH, Ky. (Oct 1, 2022)  The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) plans to close a section of KY 70/Tiline Road in Livingston County on Tuesday and Wednesday, October 4 and 5, 2022.

KY 70/Tiline Road will be closed at mile point 5.8 to allow structural repairs to the Anglin Creek Bridge.  This is along KY 70/Tiline Road between Vaughn Road and KY 2232/Sugar Creek Road.  This is near the halfway mark between Smithland and Tiline.

The roadway at this site will close promptly at 8 a.m., CDT, on Tuesday.  It will remain closed overnight to allow concrete used for the repairs to cure.  KY 70/Tiline Road is expected to reopen sometime on the morning of Wednesday, October 5.

There will be no marked detour.  Motorists will have an extended self-detour via KY 2232/Sugar Creek Road, KY 866/Paradise Road, KY 93/Iuka Road, KY 453/Iuka Road and U.S. 60.
