Mrs. Kay Odom, 74, of Murray, passed away on Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at Murray Calloway County Hospital.
Mrs. Odom was born on April 27, 1948 in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio to the late Sherman and Lois Claridge Sperry. Kay was an avid artist and had many of her pieces in art galleries in Memphis, TN. She adored all of her fur babies and was once named Miss Zephyrhills, FL. She was of Baptist faith. Kay loved her family dearly and will be missed by many.
She is preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Eddie Sperry.
Those she lovingly leaves behind include her husband of 31 years, Mr. Edward J. Odom of Murray; daughters, Lisa Dodd and husband, Logan of Paris, TN, Kasey Lea Johnson and husband, Ernest of Ridge Manor, FL; a son, Matthew Henry Hill and wife, Kelly of Alabaster, AL; a step daughters, Kerrin Odom and Kerry Odom of Paducah; a step son, Edward Troy Odom of Murray; a brother, Amos Ransom Sperry of Madisonville, KY; grandchildren, Zachary Allan Cathey and wife, Shirley of FL, Sarah Kay Cathey of FL, Ryker Blane Cathey of Paris, Joseph Hill of AL, Katie Owen and husband, Andrew of GA, Gavin Riley of FL, Gina Zanol and husband, Tommy, Teela Odom, and great grandchildren, Madelyn, Henley, Henry.
