The McCracken County Sheriff’s Office is seeking information regarding a vehicle versus pedestrian collision that occurred on Thursday, 22 September 2022, at approximately 12:20 PM. Deputies and detectives responded to the area of Roy Lee Road and Old US Highway 60 for a reported collision involving a vehicle striking a pedestrian, in which the vehicle had failed to stop after the collision and fled from the scene. As a result of the collision, the victim sustained serious injuries and was ultimately flown to an out of state hospital for care. Through the course of the investigation, utilizing evidence located at the scene and statements from the victim, detectives were able to determine that the vehicle involved was a 2013 to 2015 model Honda Accord, white in color. The vehicle continued to travel east bound on US Highway 60 toward Paducah and is believed to have turned onto McCracken Boulevard. Evidence collected indicates that the vehicle will be missing the passenger front wheel liner and may possibly have damage to the passenger front quarter panel/fender as well.
