Jones and Shadowen crowned Marshall County Homecoming Queen and King

Laney Beth Jones and Wilson Shadowen were crowned Homecoming Queen and King before Friday’s Homecoming game against Daviess County.

Seniors Laney Beth Jones and Wilson Shadowen were crowned 2022 Marshall County Homecoming Queen and King in a pre-game ceremony before the Marshals played Daviess County. Laney Beth was crowned by 2021 Homecoming Queen Neely Northcott.

Queen candidates were Cheyenne Chilton, Laney Beth Jones, Georgia Darden, Janie Pagel, Peyton Lamb, Elsie Riley, Brooke Hurley, Lauren Owen, Lyra Duffey, Georgia Hall and Graycee Clark. King candidates included Jackson McClean, Braydon Dunbar, Jameson Wells, Blake Graham, Nate Clapp, Preston Futrell, Logan Venezia, Gannon Gordon, Rex Wadkins, Wilson Shadowen and Clay Cope.

Candidates were nominated by the clubs they are members of and voted on by the Marshall County student body.
