Janice “Jan” Carol McCoy, age 68, of Benton, KY, died Saturday, September 10, 2022, at Murray-Calloway Co. Hospital in Murray, KY. Mrs. McCoy was a self employed beautician and was a member of Pleasant Hope Baptist Church.
She was the daughter of the late Marshall Brock and the late Dora Alice (Nelson) Brock. She was also preceded in death by two sisters: Jackie Lynn Holt and Linda Sue Morton.
She is survived by her husband: Jim McCoy of Benton, KY; three daughters: Jodinna Clayton and husband Robert of Calvert City, KY, LeaAnna Peden and husband Robert, and Brittany McCoy of Paris, TN; two sisters: Barbara Ann McLeod of Dexter, KY and Marcella Jane Smith of Benton, KY; five grandchildren: Krystian Clayton, Noah Clayton, Christopher Peden, Alexandria Peden, and Avery Peden; one great grandchild: Jamison Cole and several nieces and nephews.
Arrangements are being handled by Collier Funeral Home, Benton, KY. Graveside funeral service will be held at Marshall Co. Memory Gardens at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, September 13, 2022. Rev. Larry Logsdon will officiate with burial following in the Marshall Co. Memory Gardens.
