Mr. Robert Halton Banks, Sr., 72 of Murray, KY, passed away Tuesday, September 6, 2022, at Murray Calloway Co. Hospital, Murray, KY.
Born September 13, 1949, in Murray, KY, he was the son of the late Robert Banks and June (Parker) Garland. Mr. Banks was a retired truck driver. He honorably served his country in the United States Army.
He is survived by his wife of 39 years of marriage, Carla Jane (Stanfield) Banks of Murray, KY, children; David Harrison of Mayfield, KY, Michelle Stimson of Mayfield, KY, Robert Halton “Bobby” Banks, Jr. of Columbia, SC and his grandchildren, Julia Stimson, Kaiden Stimson, Natalie Stimson and Makayla Stimson. He is also survived by his Aunt Ledabelle and Uncle Mervin Spurgeon of Springfield, IL.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, September 10, 2022, at 4:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Blalock-Coleman Funeral Home in Murray, KY with Elder Leon White officiating.
Friends may visit with the family Saturday, September 10, 2022, between the hours of 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. at Blalock-Coleman Funeral Home, 713 S. 4th St., Murray, KY 42071.
