Joanne Carver Cornwell, age 86, of Paducah passed away at 11:45 a.m. Friday, September 2, 2022 at Baptist Health Paducah. Joanne was of the Lutheran faith and retired as a cook with the Ingram Barge Company. Joanne enjoyed camping., fishing, cookouts, cooking and being with her family. She enjoyed family and being a part of the stories being told and shared.
Survivors include one daughter Sheryl Ann (James) Hooper, Reidland, KY; two sons, Michael Gagnon, Grand Rivers, KY and Gerald (Linda) Gagnon, Caro MI; one brother, John Michael Carver, Paducah; daughter-in-law, Kathy Gagnon, Paducah; nephew, like a son, John Michael (Laurie) Carver; nine grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Preceding in death were husband, Paul “Pigskin” Cornwell; one son, Edward William Gagnon; parents, Alton Vernon Cornwell and Hallie Violet Burris Carver; one brother, Richard Carver and one infant sister.
Services will be held Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at the Milner & Orr Funeral of Paducah with James Hooper officiating. Burial will follow at the Oak Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 7, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. until service time of 1:00 p.m. at the Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
