Gertrude “Trudy” Mae (Landers) Smith, 86 of Murray, KY died on Thursday, September 1, 2022, at the Anna Mae Owen Residential Hospice House in Murray, KY.
Born Thursday, December 5, 1935 in Canalou, MO, she was the daughter of the late Willie Alvin Landers and the late Norma Jean (Allen) Landers. She was the wife of the late Joel Smith.
She was a member of Glendale Road Church Of Christ and retired as a teacher.
She is survived by her sons, Kevin Joel Smith wife Tammy of Murray, KY, Karl Dean Smith wife Debbie of Murray, KY, Gregory Allen Smith wife Becky of Grahamville, KY; brothers, Leslie Allen Landers of Benton, KY, David Alvin Landers of Tiline, KY; sisters, Jean Stegman of Calvert City, KY, Barbara Brindley husband Ronnie of Princeton, KY; 9 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
A Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Saturday, September 3, 2022 at Collier Funeral Home, located at 211 West 5th St., Benton, KY 42025 with the John Dale and Steven Hunter officiating.
Interment will be in Marshall Co. Memory Gardens, Benton, KY.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM on Saturday, September 3, 2022, at Collier Funeral Home.
