Karen was born August 11, 1956, in Peoria, IL, to the late Scott Watkins and to the late Charlotte Bartholomew.
She leaves behind three children, George Cruz of Murray, KY, Rosaria Rodriguez, and Victor Rodriguez; two grandsons, Iziah Cruz and Elijah Cruz of Murray, KY; one daughter-in-law, Latisha Staples that loved her dearly; two sisters, Jody Bartley of Chicago, IL and Kim Watkins of Iowa; one brother Scott (Kathy) Watkins of Ruskin, FL; half-brother, Steve Watkins of Galesburg, IL; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by, one brother Tony Watkins.
A memorial service will be planned for a later date.
