
Mary Helen Pruitt, 82, of Milburn, passed away on Friday, August 12, 2022 at Jackson Purchase Medical Center in Mayfield.
Mary Helen was born in Arlington on January 26, 1940 to the late Dan and Eulene Clapp. She worked at Merit Clothing Company for almost 20 years and enjoyed quilting. She recently worked at the Senior Citizen building and Columbus Belmont Park doing what she loved most, cooking. Mary Helen was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church.
She is survived by her two daughters, Mary Ann Overby, husband, Tommy Joe, of Milburn and Dean Armstrong of Clinton; her sister, Ann Feissinger of Paducah; two grandchildren, Brandi Leanne Reed and Daniel Ray Cox; and eleven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, Gerald Thomas Pruitt; her sons, Danny Pruitt and Keith Pruitt; one brother, Billy Joe Clapp; one grandson, Vance Siress and her parents.
A funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM on Tuesday, August 16, 2022 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Arlington with Bro. Timmy Stinson officiating. Burial will follow at Milburn Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM on Tuesday, August 16, 2022 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Arlington.
