James Harril Lee, age 79, of Bardwell, died on August 4, 2022, at his residence.
Mr. Lee was retired from Carlisle County School System as a bus driver and was a member of Milburn Baptist Church. He is remembered as always being calm and good natured. He had a love for horses and loved taking care of them. He loved everyone and wanted to treat everyone equal and was known as a role model for many. He especially loved his nieces and nephews and all of his family. He was a loving father and husband. He did everything with his wife, Martha, and they were a loving couple for almost 60 years.
James Harril Lee is survived by his wife, Martha McBride Lee of Bardwell, a daughter, Pam Lee of Wilmington, Deleware and a brother, Vernon Lee of McEwen, Tennessee.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Lee and Florence Collins Emmons.
Visitation for James Harril Lee will be held at Milner & Orr Funeral Home in Bardwell on Sunday, August 7, 2022 from 5:00-8:00 PM.
Funeral services will be held at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Bardwell at 11:00 AM on Monday, August 8, 2022, with Bro. Gaylon Bruer officiating and burial in Old Bardwell Cemetery.
