A native of Benton, Mrs. Wyatt was born August 27, 1939 to the late Delmus H. and Tula (Sloan) Ross. She was a 1957 graduate of Benton High School and was a retired Licensed Practical Nurse. Mrs. Wyatt was a member of Central Church of Christ where she was active in the benevolence program and was a leader in the Girl Scouts.
Mrs. Wyatt is survived by one daughter, Melissa J. Evans of Benton, Kentucky; one brother, Joe Ross of Kings Mountain, North Carolina; one sister, Judy Minet of Noonan, Georgia; and three grandsons, Deaven A. Evans, Steven J. Evans, and Weston Stokes.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Wyatt was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, James R. Wyatt, Sr.; and two sons, Mark S. Wyatt and James R. Wyatt, Jr.
Funeral services will be conducted 4:30 p.m. Friday, August 5th, 2022 at Collier Funeral Home, 211 West Fifth Street, Benton, Kentucky. Gene Gilliland and Gary Byers will officiate with interment to follow in Marshall County Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. Friday, August 5th, 2022 at the funeral home.
