Mr. Richard Alan Rakestraw, age 62, of Mayfield passed away on Monday, July 25, 2022 at his residence.
He was an employee of Computer Services, Inc.
Mr. Rakestraw is survived by his parents, Thomas and Carolyn Ford Rakestraw of Lawrenceburg, KY; one son, Matthew Rakestraw of Mayfield, KY; one daughter, Amanda Rakestraw of Elkhorn, KY; one brother, Michael Rakestraw of Lawrenceburg, KY; and one sister, Julie Rakestraw of Lawrenceburg, KY.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Regina Dawn Smiley Rakestraw; one son, Tyler Rakestraw; and one brother, Thomas Rakestraw, Jr.
A memorial service for Mr. Richard Alan Rakestraw will be 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 30, 2022 at Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY. Rev. Joey Reed will officiate. There will be a private burial at a later date.
Memorial visitation will be 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
