Trey Wall’s 65 leads Marshals to Invitational win

Trey Wall knocked this birdie putt in on the 18th hole at Calvert City Country Club to win the Marshall County Invitational with a 7-under par 65.

Marshall County golf hosted the Marshall County Invitational on Tuesday at Calvert City Country Club. Trey Wall’s blistering 7-under par 65 led the Marshals to their second tournament win of the early 2022 season. The Marshals team score of 294 was six strokes better than second place Greenwood with 300. Greenwood’s Michael Lang finished runner-up behind Wall with a 3-under 69.

The Marshall County ‘B’ team shot 362 to finish 10th.

The team will travel to Winchester to play in the Cardinal Championship at Winchester Country Club on Thursday.
