On July 16th, 2022, at approximately 3:30pm, a Deputy with the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on Old Mayfield Rd. near Rosewood Dr. The vehicle was a 2019 Kawasaki Motorcycle driven by 49-year-old Shane L. Jones of Paducah, KY.
During the investigation, it was discovered that Jones was in possession of a quantity of Crystal Methamphetamine, a quantity of Marijuana, a quantity of Oxycodone, and other items related to Drug Paraphernalia.
It was also discovered that the Kawasaki Motorcycle operated by Jones was confirmed to be stolen out of West Paducah in McCracken County. The motorcycle was later returned to the rightful owner.
Records indicate that Jones is currently out on bond stemming from a prior Crystal Methamphetamine related charge from May of 2022.
