Final section of 9-mile work zone being removed this morning

PADUCAH, Ky. (July 15, 2022)  A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) has completed milling and parving of bridge and overpass approaches along Interstate 24 in the Paducah/McCracken County area .

A final section of the 9-mile work zone is being removed this morning.  The westbound lane of I-24 is fully open.  The final section of the eastbound work zone should be removed by about 9 a.m., CDT.

The daytime work zone lane restrictions for both directions of travel were for milling and paving to smooth bridge and overpass approaches along I-24 between the 3.5 mile marker and the 12.1 mile marker.
