
The McCracken County Sheriff’s Office initiated investigations over the past ten days that have lead to the arrests of six people and the seizure of illegal drugs.
On 07/01/2022 the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at 155 Jason Drive in the Kevil area of McCracken County. The sheriff’s office was assisted by the Ballard County Sheriff’s Office with the warrant service. During the search warrant service detectives located and seized Methamphetamine, Xanax and drug paraphernalia inside the residence and on the property. Sarah Weaver, who was present at the residence, was arrested and lodged in the McCracken County Regional Jail. Detectives obtained an arrest warrant for Billy J. Arnold, who lives at the residence, but was not present at the home during the warrant service. Arnold was arrested on the warrant later on 07/08/22 by McCracken County deputies during a traffic stop.
In late June 2022, drug detectives began an investigation into illegal drug trafficking involving Ian Hunter. At the time, Hunter was residing and incarcerated at the Paducah Halfway House. During the investigation, detectives made numerous Methamphetamine purchases from Hunter. Hunter was arrested on 07/06/2022 in the Lone Oak area of McCracken County. Hunter was lodged in the McCracken County Regional Jail.
On 07/08/2022 deputies and detectives utilized a cooperating witness to contact David Novetske and arrange to purchase Methamphetamine and Marijuana from him. Novetske had numerous outstanding warrant out for his arrest at the time. Novetske was located on Cook Street in McCracken County a short time later in a motor vehicle driven by Toby Wren. Detectives made contact with Novetske. During the arrest, Novetske allegedly dropped a baggie of Methamphetamine. Detectives searched the vehicle that Novetske and Wren had arrived in and located approximately 190 grams of Marijuana. Wren was also arrested. While at the residence where Novetske and Wren were arrested, detectives located another woman, Elizabeth Tabor, inside the residence. Tabor was arrested on numerous outstanding warrants.

ARRESTED: Elizabeth E. Tabor, 54 of Pool Road Paducah, KY
CHARGES: Five outstanding warrants for failing to appear for court cases in McCracken and Crittenden Counties
