Re: Search Warrant and Meth arrest
The Graves County Sheriff’s Office conducted a warrant service at an address on West Broadway overnight. In the course of the investigation a search warrant was obtained for the residence where approximately 21 grams of methamphetamine and 4 ounces of marijuana with paraphernalia was located in the residence. Also, during the search warrant Montez Benjamin 46, of Mayfield was located hiding in the attic and had numerous warrants for his arrest. Other occupants Shane Turner, 43 of Mayfield and Sarah Ward, 38 of Melber were arrested as well after Benjamin was located in the residence.
Montez Benjamin:
Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st Degree, 2nd Offense Over 2 Grams.
Trafficking in Marijuana Under 8 ounces.
Drug Paraphernalia Buy/Possess.
Shane Turner:
Hindering Apprehension or Prosecution 2nd Degree.
Sarah Ward:
Hindering Apprehension or Prosecution 2nd Degree.
The Graves County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Kentucky State Police and the Mayfield Police Department.

Re: Methamphetamine Arrest
On June 2, 2022 at approximately 1:40 AM, the Graves County Sheriff’s Office responded to the Pryorsburg community for a welfare check on an individual. Deputies located the individual driving on US 45 South and conducted a traffic stop. During the course of the traffic stop, approximately 10 grams of methamphetamine and paraphernalia were located. Brian Caylor, 48 of Mayfield, was arrested and charged with the following offenses:

Operating a Motor Vehicle Under the Influence of a Controlled Substance 2nd Offense
Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st Degree, 2nd Offense Methamphetamine.
