Ramp closure for repairs and paving

PADUCAH, Ky. (May 28, 2022)  The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) plans a daytime closure of the southbound Exit 0 entry ramp on the Purchase Parkway at Fulton on Wednesday, June 1, 2022.

The Purchase Parkway Fulton Exit 0 southbound entry ramp carries traffic from KY 166/Middle Road at Fulton to the southbound lanes of the parkway via KY 2537 heading into Tennessee.

A contractor will be working with the KYTC Fulton County Highway Maintenance Crew to repair the ramp, then to pave a new driving surface to provide a smoother connection to the Parkway from KY 2567.

During this work on the Southbound Purchase Parkway Exit 0 Entry Ramp, there will be no marked detour.  However, southbound motorists heading from KY 166/Middle Road into Tennessee may self-detour via the Purchase Parkway U.S. 51 Fulton Exit 1 Interchange.

During the day, this paving crew also plans to place an asphalt cap on the repaired Harris Fork Creek Culvert along Fairview Avenue between 5th Street and 6th Street in the City of Fulton.

This project is scheduled on a weather-permitting basis.  In case of rain, the project will move to the next available working day.
