A native of Chicago, Illinois, Mr. Knoll was the son of Donald Raymond Knoll and the late Barbara Joyce (Guzinski) Knoll. He was a retired construction worker and a member of the Pipefitters Local in Chicago.
Greg had a great sense of humor and was quick to smile. He cared for his family and friends and was a “teddy bear” of a man who will be sorely missed by those that knew him.
He is survived by his father, Donald Raymond Knoll of Gilbertsville, Kentucky; one son, Christopher Knoll of Chicago, Illinois; one daughter, Amanda Knoll of Peoria, Illinois; one brother, Donald David Knoll of Mokena, Illinois; and two sisters, Michele Puzas of Naples, Florida and Connie Bolda of New Lenox, Illinois.
In addition to his mother, Mr. Knoll was preceded in death by one brother Jeffery Knoll.
