The McCracken County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Central City woman on Saturday night on the parking lot of a Paducah hospital and charged her with drug trafficking.
On 05/07/2022 the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office received information from a Ballard County Sheriff’s Deputy alleging that a woman was trafficking in Methamphetamine. Information received led detectives to the parking lot of a local hospital located at 2501 Kentucky Avenue in Paducah. Detectives conducted surveillance in area where they were able to identify the woman as 45 year old Jessica Slack of Central City, Kentucky. Detectives made contact with Slack on the hospital parking lot just after 9pm. During the investigation detectives searched her vehicle and located and seized approximately 10 grams of Crystal Methamphetamine, a digital scale and $1608 that is believed to be proceeds of illegal drug sales.
Detectives obtained/executed a search warrant at the woman’s hotel room located at 5300 Cairo Road. During the search warrant service detectives located and seized additional Methamphetamine and assorted drug paraphernalia.
Jessica Slack was arrested and lodged in the McCracken County Regional. Slack has numerous prior convictions for drug trafficking enhancing these charges to a 2nd or subsequent offense.
