On April 30, 2022, at about 2:13 am, a Deputy with the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office was patrolling the Lone Oak Community. The Deputy noticed a male subject walking on Lone Oak Road. Deputies got out to speak with the subject who was acting suspicious. The Subject later identified as Richard G. Nelson was found to be in possession of approximately 15 grams of suspected methamphetamine and other drug paraphernalia. Nelson was arrested and lodged in the McCracken Regional Jail.
