Gina Henderson Russelburg, 56, of Arlington, passed away on Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at Mercy Health Lourdes in Paducah.
Gina was born in Kansas City, Missouri on April 19, 1966. She was a member of Milburn Methodist Church and often volunteered with the food pantry. Gina loved to be outdoors where her favorite pastime since childhood was searching for “lucky rocks” along creek bottoms and anywhere she could find them. She also enjoyed going to the river bottoms and riding side-by-sides. Gina was always helping those in need and served as caretaker to many close friends and family. She loved her family big and enjoyed spending as much time with them as possible, especially her special great-niece, Kristina Puckett. Gina also loved to cheer on her beloved University of Kentucky Wildcats basketball team.
Gina is survived by her father, Richard Lynn Henderson of Cunningham; her sister, Marla Puckett of Arlington; three nieces, Natasha (Ky) Kennedy of Vancleave, Mississippi, Nikki (Dustin) Doty of Mayfield and Shelby Henderson of Mayfield; three nephews, Christopher (Christy) Knight of Mayfield, James Buck Brizendine of Benton and Brandon Henderson of Mayfield; and several great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Barbara Alice Woods Henderson and her brother, Ricky Henderson.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Arlington with Rev. Jonathan Althoff officiating. Burial will follow at the Old Bardwell Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Tuesday, May 3, 2022 at the funeral home.
