A rainy week led to many spring sports cancellations last week but the tennis team got in one match against the strong Paducah Tilghman team. The boys’ team held their own in many matches, coming away with two wins in singles play. Jameson Wells and Andrew Petitt won both of their singles matches while number one players Kian Court and Whitson McNeill battled through 13 games with McNeill getting the 8-5 win.

The girls’ team was shut out but top two players JC Wells and Courtney Phillips each won two games in their matches and lost 8-3 in their doubles match.

Three matches on the schedule this week begin today against St. Mary at Noble Park in Paducah. Tuesday they will host McCracken County and finish the week with a match Thursday at Graves County.
