Marshall County Police Reports 4/16- 4/17

On 04/16/2022, Deputies observed the offender, Dustin Ellenberger, driving northbound on I-69. Deputies observed that Ellenberger had expired registration and also demonstrated driving behaviors consistent with impaired driving. Upon contact with Ellenberger, Deputies could smell the odor of alcohol and Ellenberger admitted to drinking before driving. Deputies conducted the standard field sobriety test and Ellenberger showed clues of impairment.
Ellenberger was arrested and transported to the Herman Ford Detention Center where further analysis was conducted.
All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
On 04/16/2022, Deputies were dispatched to the area of KY Shores on US 641 N in reference to an impaired driver. The caller stated that the offender, Amanda Patterson, had been asked to leave KY Shores and was then observed pulling out in front of oncoming traffic on 641 N. Deputies located Patterson in Draffenville and pulled her over at the Minit Mart in Draffenville. Upon contact, Deputies observed a small, 3 year old child in the back seat sitting next to a child restraint device not properly secured. While speaking with Patterson, Deputies observed indicators of impairment and asked Patterson to perform the standard field sobriety tests, which confirmed their suspicions.
Patterson was transported to the Herman Ford Detention Center and was charged with the following:
-DUI
-Wanton Endangerment 1st
-Operating on Suspended Operators License
-Failure to Surrender Revoked Operators License
-Booster Seat violations
The small child was released to a relative.
All subjects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
On 04/17/2022, Deputies were dispatched to 98 Rudd Ln in reference to an unwanted subject. The victim advised dispatch that the offender, Raymond Ryle, had come to her house, after being told not to show up, and began causing problems. The victim advised that Ryle had been drinking prior to his arrival and then drank her alcohol when he arrived. Ryle was told by the victim to leave several times but refused and began making a mess of the victims property.
Upon Deputies arrival, they located Ryle laying face down on the floor of the residence and when asked what had happened, Ryle refused to speak. Ryle was detained and eventually arrested after further investigation.
While trying to place Ryle in the cruiser, Ryle became non-compliant, and after a brief struggle, was placed in the cruiser and transported to the Herman Ford Detention Center.
Raymond Ryle was charged with the following:
-Alcohol Intoxication
-Criminal Trespassing 1st
-Disorderly Conduct 2nd
-Resisting Arrest
-Assault 3rd, Police Officer
All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
