The 2022 Tater Day Parade rolled down Benton’s Main Street after a two-year absence of the annual celebration. The parade brought to an end four days of Tater Day festivities with a large crowd lining the route from the corner of 5th and Main Street all the way up to the court square. A tradition that began in 1843 when farmers met on the court square to trade sweet potatoes and welcome in the spring season.
